Ron was born in Flint, MI and has lived in Metro Detroit most of his life. He loves living in Michigan and spending as much time with his family as he can. Ron has been married to his wife Velma since 1987. They have four children that they love like crazy. Their oldest is in college studying to be a math teacher and the three youngest attend a small private school in Troy.
Upon graduating high school in 1981, Ron attended Motech Automotive Education Center in Livonia, MI. He completed the program in 11 months and promptly started working as a certified auto technician. After 18 years as a tech in the automotive industry, his body eventually gave out physically. In 1999, Ron had to retool his career and it was then that he embarked on his real estate adventure.
By 2004, Ron had become one of the top selling brokers in SE Michigan. While he was a broker at Keller Williams, he listed and sold over 3000 properties. Ron gained extensive experience understanding the needs of his clients and took pride in making all transactions a win-win result.
In 2012, he changed his focus to work one-on-one with home sellers. Ron now works extensively with sellers who are dealing with property as part of an estate. He always strives to achieve the best result for all parties involved and has based his business on the principles of integrity, respect, and honesty.
It’s a family business - Ron's wife, Velma, helps with renovation & staging decisions when Ron is hired to fix up a house. She is a very talented administrator and also has a great eye for design and floor plans. She helps Ron best decide how to make homes beautiful again. Velma is also the Elementary Principal at the school their children attend.
Real estate is how Ron provides for his family, but it’s also what he loves doing. Working directly with sellers to help solve their real estate problems gives him great joy. Whether it’s producing a quick sale, helping achieve a top sales price, navigating the probate process, or working with out-of-state sellers; Ron has done it all.
